Bronchitis and Pneumonia in Pregnancy

So I've been coughing for 3 weeks and having fever, flu, dizziness in between
The 1st week:cough was very bad that it woke me (and hubby) up several times.i just couldn't sleep
It came with nausea and belly cramps that I  thought I was in premature labor.of course I was panic and put hubs in panic mode as well. I was at 29 weeks

Apart from that I didn't expect anything else because I thought that they are ordinary coughs that I used to have since school days
I remember my  standard 3 math teacher, Mrs Tan, upon hearing my cough from the back of the classroom, said in her high pitch:
"Siti, kenapa kamu batuk kung kung mcm anjing?"

Anyway,during my antenatal appointment with Dr Seri few days later Dr Seri suggested to me that they are not ordinary coughs. She set my appointment with Dr Fauzi from the respiratory clinic right away
And from Dr Fauzi I heard the word bronchitis. He prescribed antibiotic and phensedyl and some lozenges
7 days later I convinced him that I'm recovering, although still having the coughs at night.
But Dr Fauzi still wanted to see me in 2 weeks time, just to make sure I'm fully recovered

Then few days later I was coughing again
On Tuesday, I sensed that something is just not right
I was experiencing chills, dizziness, tightness on the chest, shortness of breath.
my face felt so cold but sweats was also all over my face. Org melayu kata peluh sejuk

I felt like fainting

I decided to see Dr Fauzi earlier the next day.He listened to my lungs, ordered for chest xray and the result was:early stage pneumonia
He recommended for admission the same day for intensive treatment. He said home treatment wd mean that I can risk others as well so visitors shd be restricted

We hesitated for admission at first considering lil princess
But thinking that I might be the contributing factor to her prolonged illness, I convinced hubs that I shd be warded

So here I am. Day 2 at the hosp.
Having needle stucked on your hand 24 hrs is no fun and painful (I think my pain tolerance is not as it used to).
