There's a reason why 2 people stay together: they give each other something nobody else can

We found it much to our amusement when both of them cry at the same time. We would look at each other and smiled; realising this is how our life gonna be in the next couple of months (or years!) We couldn't be more blessed than having these 2 beautiful babies.

Happy 26 months sayang! You are now at the stage where you like to count things and it's a routine that you count your fingers before you sleep and you never fail to make ummi laugh with your funny tune "kakak hannan ye.." especially when you see your cousin embun and you like to use adjectives nowadays you would stand by the car window (btw, you like to sit at the back lately..or rather..going to the front and back of the car..) and say "woahh..big cloud.." or "woahh..big cars.." or "big thunder" or "big azan" yes everything is big you recognize shapes, thanks to the mr. maker  shapes song video in youtube and always ask ummi/daddy to draw them "ummi/daddy..draw.. act-tangle (rectangle)/ curl (circle) / kai-angle (triangle)/ quare (square)" and you really emphasize when you don't want something like "ummi..dowan dowan dowan rice " yes, "dowan" up to 3 times if you want something you...

Hannan has been having diarrhea/loose stool for 1 week already but she's not having fever or vomiting etc appears active. drinking as usual. no signs of dehydration less rice intake but replacing it with bread and chicken been to nearby clinic.doc seemed not worried at all because of the above but she prescribed medicine anyway. the white color syrup. and ointment for her nappy rash. that's all but she's still having loose stool esp during sleep (like 2 or 3 times) it's puzzling us update: we gave her yoghurt for 2 days in a row as it is said to be a good cure for diarrhea. alhamdulillah.. princess recovered completely

Hannan's favorite word now is "cut nails", "eyebrow", "forehead", "good girl". Also love Doc Mcstuffin "take a nap" song and Princess Sofia's "finding clover" song.  At the same time, I couldn't understand why she loves kinder surprise egg video so much. She also watches toy review videos such as fisher price/kidraft kitchen set and play doh. Sometimes she's a crybaby. So "banja" (the way she says "manja" sometimes). Maybe it's because of my pregnancy? Nowadays she cries in her sleep . Before she would only utter words like ummi, daddy, atok, achumm in her sleep. But now it's the mengigau crying part that worries us. So now we have to make sure that we don't expose or bring her to unnecessary place at unnecessary times. And try to limit her to tv commercials esp this Halloween month. Kids are vulnerable right?

4 hosp visits in 2 weeks It was tough. Tears fall almost everyday. But alhamdulillah as at today her fever subsided and she's gaining back her appetite. All that's worrying is her bad cough.especially at night. but doc confirmed that her lungs are clear so that's a really really good news for us And God just gave hubby extra strength during this difficult period taking care of both of us although he himself also caught with flu and cough Thnk u daddy.. We love you and appreciate everything you did..

dear hannan I'm sorry I've done wrong I was so focusing on your crankiness during this tough period that i totally forget what a wonderful child you have been all this while I'm sorry that I forget how you usually are I'm sorry for not having enough patience I'm sorry that most of the time I forget what you really need what you really intend to tell us for instance, you cry just because you are hungry or because you are just sleepy or because you are feeling sick I'm sorry sayang It has been too long that I totally forget about how you usually are get well soon sayang

i just realised that lil princess fell sick twice last month and both prolonged for about 1 week the difference is this time, it affected her sleep as well. and made her cry for hours and today is day 10 since she got the nasty virus doc said expect her to be like this for 2 weeks since it is the "time of the year" where virus just spreads easily we don't have the choice but to be patient as much as we could and observe her development cos sometimes i do feel like admitting her to hosp, hoping she would completely recover the next day but thinking about drips and the pain of needles that she had to go through, i just couldn't since the last 3 days, she still gets high temperature and excessive coughs at night but she wakes up less because of it unlike earlier when she would cry every hour and just couldn't lie flat on her bed because of the nasal congestion, forcing us hubby to carry her through out the night she still kinda cranky here and there, but a...

It has been a hectic and tiring week for hubs as he had to take care of his wife and lil princess First it was the wife who was down with fever+bronchitis+nausea+cramping belly so of course he had to manage the house and the daughter He cleaned the house, did the laundry while at the same time entertaining his lil princess and doing ofc work late at night Then few days after the lil princess caught viral fever+cough+flu Her condition was so bad that she wakes up every hour at night crying because of the nasal congestion and high temp And daddy, already sleep deprived, had to carry her around the house in the wee hours either to feed her or give her drink or just accompanying her watch youtube And today is day 5 since lil princess got ill Lucky, the wife feel a lil bit recovered now that she's able to help look after lil princess Not much, but at least for husband to take some nap before lil princess wakes up at night She had a tough time earlier today as she had t...

Instead of "ummi" she calls me "Ommi!! Ommi!" It's not that she can't say it properly just that she likes the way it sounds I guess Yeah sometimes she's just like that We also love the way she says charger, coffee, tiger, monkey. Sounds so british haha Whatever that makes you happy sayang

So our lil precious, officially by roman calendar, turned 2 We had few discussions on how we're going to celebrate it this time and finally decided to have it privately. just 3 of us because hubby  lil princess needed some "serious" swimming practice session. hehe grand lexis pd. googled image the room. before. after.refused to get into the pool at first. haha I wish we had a room with a bigger pool but since mummy's too heavy and exhausted to float swim while daddy and princess were only having practice session, guess the pool size was just nice (but must get bigger one next time post-birth daddy! ) Later we had a simple dinner at the in-house cafe, Duyung Restaurant with a complimentary cake from the hotel. Hannan is recovering from her 5 days fever which came along with yellow discharge in the eyes.plus a bit of cough She had sleepless nights Cried really loud that you just can't figure out what to do And fell asleep after crying all out It really rips your heart to see your child in sick condition Tears were flowing free and easy during the sick period felt guilty As if I failed to take good care of her I'm sorry if we did anything wrong sayang We tried our best We brought you to see doctor twice and both said it is just viral So we trusted them.and patiently give the medicine although you cried everytime The sad teary cry We just have to be strong for your own good And we hope you'll get back to your usual self soonest Love you baby

Happy 23 months to Hannan and happy 23 weeks to baby Z! while big sister Hannan is getting brighter and smarter and cheekier each day, baby Z is getting active kicking/squirming/punching/doing somersaults and whatnot inside there your way of saying hello right? and by this week you can already hear outside noises means you can already listen to your sister babbling ABCs, 123s and nursery rhymes Wish you can see her doing the dances and steps too :) she's a fast learner at this stage..observing and absorbing everything like a sponge pretty good at imitating other people.. like way of saying things which made it so funny and thank you for being active and allowing me to stay healthy in this second trimester..I enjoy this stage very much..occasional fatigue is still okay to ummi so hang in there ya.. sister Hannan loves you very much too..she would kiss you/ummi's belly everyday while calling out "adik..adik.." sometimes she would want to sleep on top of um...

I totally enjoy when you start counting our family members just before you sleep and when you start to ask us sing during bedtime I love it when you request to salam both daddy and I before you sleep I love it when you reach out your hands to my face every night before you sleep and say "ayang.." (sayang) and kiss me repeatedly and sleep with your hands on my cheeks We enjoy watching you ride on your musical bike We enjoy seeing you walking and running around the mall or house We enjoy watching you talking and babbling things which we fail to understand sometimes and seeing your reaction of us not able to understand you We enjoy seeing you doing your goofy things and laughing when you realize everyone is laughing at you We love just everything about you dear Hannan and we hope we can be the best parents for you and baby z much love, ummi and daddy

Dear Hannan As days go by I couldn't help to notice that you have become so manja with people around you Asking people to carry you all the time Sitting on ummi or daddy's lap while watching your videos Kissing us many times without us anticipating it So sweet And at this stage You are well familiar with sun, moon, rain and stars You've recognised all the family members You can distinguish auntie abang kakak uncle You love and sing along to skidamarink song, mothergoose club songs You even sing row row row your boat before you sleep..of course.. in your original chirpy funny way (row row boat..meme meme meme...) Hannan's 21-month birthday came with high fever for 3 days Her face and body was all red that koolfever could do nothing she was cranky and crying day and night and mid night nothing seems to be right you even cried at keropok and the most funny thing was that you got up at 4 am during those days requesting for cake! So oral medicine plus suppository had to do the trick And then I saw you got 2 geraham teeth on your left cheek maybe that's one of the reason for all the attitude I'm sorry sayang that I didn't think about it earlier A day after that on one hot afternoon you suddenly developed red spots all over your face, legs, hands and tummy both ummi and daddy panicked and decided to bring you to pcmc right away and when the doc said it is allergy termed as urticaria, we puzzled what might have caused you allergy all of sudden then the doc prescribed you Aerius syrup and promised us the red spots will go away in 3 days the red spots and alhamdu...

hubs left for US trip last Friday night ummi we had a tearful goodbye mainly because this is his first international trip alone without lil princess especially and the next day Hannan  woke up and pointed at the door and shouted "Dy!Dy!" indicating that Daddy's doing his work in the next room But after a while, maybe after she figured out that daddy was not at home she was a bit quiet and not as happy almost through out the day I tried my best to sing and played along with her but she was not that amused guess she was feeling that daddy's missing I didn't utter the word daddy at all on the first day, fearing that she might demand for him but alhamdulillah she's back to her usual self the second day and I really feel like taking 3 weeks off just to be with her at home but not much annual leave left :( so I just have to be strong for her and myself and I know she's even stronger April come fast!! (and take care daddy dear)

at 18-month month follow up appointment, princess got 2 injections two okay! she was crying her lungs out when dr. sharmila inserted the needles in her thigh (i cried in my heart too) and she was down with a bit of fever from it that ummi and daddy had to put the koolfever on her forehead and she was cranky because i guess she feels the numb and pain on her legs poor baby but she fully recovered the next day and all happy as usual she mumbles a lot more frequent now we really wish we could understand what the details are hahaha but it sounded so cute like she's so serious when she mumbles as if she's talking about a serious topic and she understands and can differentiate happy tone, sad tone, angry tone she's starting to recognize alphabets and numbers like A, B, C, O, 1 to 5 body parts and already pro at drinking with straw \^-^/ likes to shout "duh..kit.." now she's in the phase of wanting us to carry her almost all the time - at home, during outing she can force you to get up from the bed and carry her to the wardrobe or drawer or other rooms be it during her bedtime or once she's awake already skilled at doing pretend laughs cries her lungs out when she can't find ummi or daddy loves (sometimes even strangles) cats still learning to drink with straw
