There's a reason why 2 people stay together: they give each other something nobody else can

A quick getaway for our anniversary which was supposed to be a surprise but got kantoi earlier by the wife >•< Friendly staffs, quick check in, big and clean room that comes with mini pool we took the tower view room as it provides more privacy for me to swim with the kids. For those who may want the bigger or hv no issue with open view pool can opt for the water chalet which is a bit far from the tower building.not a problem if you are not heavily pregnant. Plus they provide buggy rides from and to the main building Loved the fact that they provide 2 set of king sized beds and loads of pillows loved the hibiscus scent toiletries set loved the tapiica chips and tart cookies that they give as complimentary  (yup i finished the whole box of cookies by myself) They also have a big play area / kids zone for kids aged 2-12 at level 2. Boutique hotel located 2 mins away from jonker street. Very clean.nice interior.modern bathroom fittings. Staffs are very courteous and friendly. Weekend rate RM375 for 3 pax bedroom with breakfast. Not many choice of buffet spread for breakfast, but they do make sure that whatever available is traditional and good. Nasi lemak with sambal sotong, cucur udang, pisang goreng,ubi rebus, lempeng all tasted good. Minus points about this hotel are  very limited parking space (lucky the staff helped us park and get the car when we checked out), poor wifi and it got really noisy at night. But we survived! And Hannan said she liked the hotel very much

We went to Penang 2 weeks back for a short family trip. I chose this hotel because I wanted to have both beach and Georgetown. And the rate was not as expensive as Batu Feringghi hotels. Clean room and facilities. Courteous and helpful staffs. I was not happy with the check in time 3 pm, but they did allow early check in since there were 2 available rooms ( we booked 5 rooms) If it is for the beach, I'd suggest Golden Sands Resort Batu Feringghi But we had a good time anyway, and everyone seemed happy

Super early, super simple celebration, just the 4 of us thnk u hubs I hope we won't feel old in giving each other more surprises or bday presents in coming years (presents?keep them coming!) Oh, and it's Suphie's first time on the plane! She was crying (read: loud) at first and I know it must have been challenging for other passengers (sorry!) but after giving her expressed milk, she fell asleep right away. And as I mentioned in previous post, Hannan is no longer afraid of the beach sand and sea. She played her version of sand castle for hours. The weather was cloudy so it was all just nice for her. I love the hotel staffs. from housekeeping, concierge, buggy driver, kitchen staffs. they have been friendly last time and still are. We just went out to Hj Ismail shop for chocolate shopping and spent the rest of the time in the hotel. It's very challenging when you are out at the mall and your 2 kids decided to sleep at the same time. And you only have 1 stroller. Because it's too expensive to get another stroller and I personally think having 2 strollers are not practical. Well some people opted for tandem strollers but we want to make use of the present stroller as much as we want (read: 100% wear and tear because it is still few months old) While doing my "research", I read so many reviews about Boba Carrier especially the youtube vids comparing Boba and Ergo baby. Ergo material is more cooling compared to Boba but as hubs said it, "you yourself won't want to expose yourself in the sun unnecessarily right?" Spot on hubs. It was hubby's idea to hv babymoon before baby z pop out So here I am sitting by the poolside watching lil princess and daddy having fun. Wish I can be in the pool too. But I think seeing a 33 weeks pregnant lady in a swimming suit would scare other kids Hmm.who's enjoying this babymoon again? Haha. Anyway thnk u hubby.

So our lil precious, officially by roman calendar, turned 2 We had few discussions on how we're going to celebrate it this time and finally decided to have it privately. just 3 of us because hubby  lil princess needed some "serious" swimming practice session. hehe grand lexis pd. googled image the room. before. after.refused to get into the pool at first. haha I wish we had a room with a bigger pool but since mummy's too heavy and exhausted to float swim while daddy and princess were only having practice session, guess the pool size was just nice (but must get bigger one next time post-birth daddy! ) Later we had a simple dinner at the in-house cafe, Duyung Restaurant with a complimentary cake from the hotel. hubs left for US trip last Friday night ummi we had a tearful goodbye mainly because this is his first international trip alone without lil princess especially and the next day Hannan  woke up and pointed at the door and shouted "Dy!Dy!" indicating that Daddy's doing his work in the next room But after a while, maybe after she figured out that daddy was not at home she was a bit quiet and not as happy almost through out the day I tried my best to sing and played along with her but she was not that amused guess she was feeling that daddy's missing I didn't utter the word daddy at all on the first day, fearing that she might demand for him but alhamdulillah she's back to her usual self the second day and I really feel like taking 3 weeks off just to be with her at home but not much annual leave left :( so I just have to be strong for her and myself and I know she's even stronger April come fast!! (and take care daddy dear)

    the standard chalet spotting the fish someone is afraid of the sea -__-' Our first family trip for 2013, thanks to hubby's department for organising the family away day but the standard chalet was rather old and worn and really need some serious refurbishment at current standard, it doesn't seem to be at 4 or 5 star quality resort hotel not much activity can be done at the resort itself, so it would be best if you can travel to other parts of the island or go for snorkeling or fishing But the food is good

We went to Kota Bahru early this month as he got some lectures to do He wanted mother and baby to come along  just to complete Hannan's Peninsular Malaysia trip (been to all peninsular states at 1 year old yeay!) Kelantan is famous with its local markets Pasar Siti Khadijah, Wakaf Che Yeh, and "duty free" markets Rantau Panjang and Pengkalan Kubur and other interesting places so why not? We stayed at the Grand Riverview Hotel Poor service. Don't like the breakfast buffet. And pls renovate the the room interior. It's so 20 years behind. Anyway The last time we came here was only 2 years ago and so much development has taken place and this time, with the help of our nice driver, we discovered great makan-makan places! Four Seasons is our top list try out the mango chicken and ikan 3 rasa, I almost cried for more Set dishes starting from RM68 for 4 dishes, plain rice and fruit platter. generous serving size, definitely value for money. I think I had not mentioned how did I had to go for this trip right? Well, once upon a day, the DG called me and a colleague up to his office and said: "I would like to nominate both of you to this workshop in France. But I'd like to know whether both of you would be interested?" SAY WHAT?! But of course, we kept our composure and politely but firm answered," Yes,of course we'd go. Thank you Dato' " Then there were 2 monkeys jumping up and down outside his office -____- So to cut the story short, all 4 of us were already on our way to Marseilles via KLM the departure night.yup, the whole family sent us off  ;p As I mentioned before, it was a 13 hour flight journey from KL to Amsterdam and I we were so hungry but we can't find any suitable food at the airport (KLM only served 2 meals during the flight). I must admit that we didn't do our proper homework on the airport before arriving and we were too weak and distraught to ask ...

13 hour flight journey from KL to Amsterdam was so exhausting! Don't make me start on KLM flight service I was so hungry during the flight!only 2 meals and with only one hour sleep through out the journey -__- Also felt that KLM flight attendants were not as friendly or helpful.They tried,but it kinda fake? Schiphol airport is congested,and the security checks are not family friendly either I already miss Malaysia! My Herbalife F1 shake had finished for more than 1 week now and I truly miss it!! Darn!I didn't think that it would make me feel this way!! (that explains the hate) Didn't have the opportunity to get it from SIL because hubby was away So we just placed the order this morning and hope can get it today or tomorrow Been taking it over the past few months and love the flavor, love the way it make me feel - healthy and detox of course! We just came back from visiting hubs at Kuching He got a suite at Hilton so naturally we just have to join him there it was all neat.until we came. imagine what happen to this neat bed when we came haha "hello,can u get me one of these for my house?" okay..some things to update: so last week were family holiday and we chose to go to Penang to spent our 3-day 2-night accommodation voucher We spent the first night in Cititel Penang and then only at Shangri-La Didn't do much in Penang..sole objective was only to get rid work-related matters (yeah but that someone still did his work at wee hours in the morning sigh) Dapat pekena Nasi Beriyani Line Clear (my personal no 1 so far!!) Swimming Pool activity with Hannan..
