Babymoon at Langkawi: 8-11 March 2012 (Day 2)

Hannan has started solids!

this fish porridge is so yummyyy!!!

full...i..can't..open my eyes....zzzzzz......

can't you see i'm trying so hard here sucking out all the juices!
Alhamdulillah..she has good appetite and eating so well..sometimes she would just grab any food or drinks at our hands..aiyaya..there was even one time when i was holding the mineral bottle and she was struggling to grab it and the water splashed to daddy's shirt.huhuhu..so ummi and daddy need to be extra careful when we were holding her..

ehh..we forget to take pictures around the hotel...hmmm...
never mind, it's Langkawi Lagoon Resort, owned by MK Land..check them out at http://www.langkawilagoonresort.com/
The hotel is located about 7 minutes from the airport. Nice beach, nice pool, nice food, and above all, extra warm and friendly staffs. don't expect the room to be like Shangri La's, but it's still a decent one. they would just need to improve on some aspects of the room like tv, curtains, towels, bedsheets. otherwise it'll be excellent. i think our room was the deluxe sea view. but they also have this beautiful sea village on the water, at a higher price of course.

We did our chocolate shopping at Kuah town on the second day..and back from Kuah we spotted this Rasa Restaurant along Pantai Cenang.

We love the friendly and fast service. The staff even brought an ottoman for us to put Hannan since she's not fit for babychair yet (so sweet!!) Since I was doing the ordering, I ordered for my our fav (or should i say regular?) dishes - kailan ikan masin, tomyam campur, telur bungkus plus soft shell crab.

You can't see the real texture of the soft shell crab here because they are already at my plate and i couldn't wait to put them in my mouth

telur bungkus daging
We loved the soft shell crab not only because we seldom get them in everyday menu but also because it was crispy and yummy. I think the food here is relatively expensive compared to other Malay stalls outside Pantai Cenang but then again, it's reasonable for its location and because it has greater portion than Jimmy's Cafe Laman Padi. The food here also taste way better than Hj Ramli's at the same row, which we went the night before.

For second day dinner we went to Telaga Seafood, also at the same row as Hj Ramli and Rasa Restaurant. It's weird that they actually feature Arab dishes. Nothing special on the menu. The food was just ok.

Enough for second day activity..
