I didn’t get to hold Hannan on the first day she was born.. attached to the hospital bed in my room, i was put on drip and urine catheter and not able to move at all.. seeing Hannan’s pics in hubby’s blackberry made me so emotional.. cried so many times.. especially when I saw the video of her drinking formula.. I felt so guilty of not being able to feed her..

I only got to see her on the second day,noon.. after they removed my drip and catheter hubby pushed me on the wheelchair to the NICU and I almost cried upon seeing her (guess it’s true that they said ibu-ibu lepas bersalin ni byk hormone).. I was asked to breastfeed her.. .. felt stressed because the head nurse was watching me and everything I did seemed to be wrong..

Late Tuesday evening the lactation consultant came to give explanation and how to on bf and I cried upon unsuccessful attempts. The lactation consultant then invited hubby and I to the lactation class on Wednesday morning and I was really glad that I joined that class. It gave me new confidence, new knowledge that i didn’t manage to acquire throughout the pregnancy. And on the same morning the milk started to produce.. J

So basically our routine in PCMC was going to the NICU to bf Hannan every 4 hours... be it at 3-4 am, NICU would call our room and ask us to come.. lucky that PCMC environment doesn’t feel like hospital..kalau hospital biasa tu tak seronok rasanya nak tolak wheelchair pkl 3-4 pagi....huhu

Hubby also said that one of the things he missed about PCMC is the food.. forget about the tray besi that you usually see in government hospitals.. at PCMC you get to choose your menu ranging from locals to Western.. appetisers to desserts.. ye saya makan macam-macam takde gaya dalam pantang and hubby benefited from that too J

All in all, rasa bersyukur sangat-sangat..segala urusan dipermudahkan Allah..from the experience of early “show” to giving birth.. recovery from the operation.. from the moment I entered the emergency room, sampailah discharge day..i felt lucky that we chose PCMC.. I would recommend anyone to go there..all doctors and  nurses are so nice and genuinely showed that they care..service memang tip top..and that include the F&B and housekeeping staffs as well.. and all visitors that came to visit us said that PCMC doesn’t feel or smell like a hospital which make them comfortable too..

Sakit sakit badan dan sakit tempat operation tu still ada but bearable so far..thank you to my greatest support system, hubby..

And also Hannan..although she’s premature, she’s considered healthy and showed no complications at all..except for the fact that she suddenly diagnosed with slight jaundice on Wednesday morning..but she recovered fast too.. Alhamdulillah..alhamdulillah..what else could I ask for..?
