the day we lost a friend.

i woke up early at 4 am yesterday to find hubby terbongkang depan tv..he was waiting for the MU-Chelsea game..so i got up to him and slowly wake him up..the moment he saw my face he said "Wan meninggal!"
"Wan?" i said. wondering which Wan he's referring to.
"Wan..Wan Ahmad Fadzil.."
"hah..?!" i was shocked. immediately the image of terrorist in pakistan shooting him appeared in my mind.
"dia meninggal pagi tadi..accident on the way balik terengganu..diorang update dalam BBM pkl 12 pagi tadi.."
Innalillah..
and i quickly grabbed his BB and read all those messages..and i also open our fb account to see friends already giving arwah Wan's family pray and condolences..
and my tears started running heavily on my cheeks when i saw arwah's pics with his daughter, Nadaa..
he even write for his daughters in his blog, nafastari.blogspot.com.. and all those stories about his wife difficulty in pregnancy..how much he loved her..
oh my...i imagined myself in his wife's place...Lord, please give her all the strength in this world..

we were never a close friend. but we do say hi and greet whenever we meet since we're in the same batch..
and i think the connection was there because we also happen to be in the same uni..
hubby and i also read his postings in FB, where he used to tell so many things about pakistanis..
that's all..

but when the news broke, we were really sad..and i'm sure that all our friends feelt he same way too...

may your soul rest in peace...
