Milestone

Suphie at 11 months:
8kg

Understand simple instructions such as lie down.sleep.stand.sit.waving bye bye and saying hi. Pointing to her nose or showing her tongue. raise her hands when we ask to recite dua
She shakes her head and put her hands in the air whenever she hears music. Be it Hi5 or any random music playing in the shop
Very friendly. Smile  most of the time
She loves books. especially the ones with "actions" from ummi - jump, bounce, sounds

And last 2 days she got a new skill- drinking from the straw!
What worries me is that she hasn't got a single tooth coming out. Is that normal?

Hannan at 38 months:
15kg
Always say that she wants to eat something else but just couldn't let go chicken and rice. The most "bizarre" menu that she tried was carbonara pasta. Recent fav music: maher zain song. She recently said that all praises to Allah means alhamdulillah, which startled us.
She knows at this stage, crying will get our attention. a bit tough for us. So we tell her that 

-there's nothing to cry about or 

-she's not a baby or 

-crying will not get her anything

-crying makes her not cute or

-sometimes we simply distract her with some other topics that we know will interest her 

Always want to wear beautiful princessey dress even to sleep. So sometimes we need to strategise how to get her into her pyjamas or normal day wear

Recent fav movie:madagascar. My issue with this cartoon is that she kept repeating the dialogue whoch sometimes include the word "stupid" and other not nice words. So ummi and daddy had a hard time explaining to her
Already knows how to express herself.
And oh ya, she's  starting to love her gymbo class.no more crying scene going to the 2 hour class. In fact she told her teacher that she'll come back!
Oh my little baby has grown up. It's time to learn more about quran and dua ok?
And I can't wait to see you and Suphie running and playing together
