What's with the ENT clinic?
ermm..
I've been suffering from what I believed as ear infection for 2-3 weeks
my left ear was kinda "blocked" and it was painful and itchy
and attending meeting was not a good thing cos i can't hear properly and I had to sit where my right ear can hear the chairman
-__-
yeah, big time

and so I went to hospital pakar an-nur bangi twice when the gp did "flush" on my left ear
but they didn't know what was it and what caused it
i was relieved after the "flush" but the pain and irritation came back after few days
so i went to mediviron clinic at diplomatic enclave where the nice doctor had me referred to ENT specialist
and that was the story

no i didn't get any of these

sleepy baby with daddy accompanying the patient
And the story goes
I had appointment with ENT specialist at PCMC, Datuk Dr. Kuljit Singh this afternoon since he is the only one available today
He was nice and friendly, greeted us with smile, chit chat and everything
He asked me to sit on this sort of mechanical chair with big screen in front of me and had my left ear checked

and he said: "it's fungus"

my heart:"WHAT??!!!"

Doc: "We have to take it out"

and he took this thin, long "mini vacuum" and simply sucked those things out from the ear canal
the most interesting thing was i got to watch the process live in front of me!
those fungus looks like clouds (except they are greenish yellowish) and they looked big on the screen
yuck.
i kinda embarassed with hubby as if I'm a pengotor
but hey, I'm like alway always clean my ear with cottonbud okay?like almost everyday?
i just got unlucky this time, that's all

Dr. Kuljit explained that at ENT clinic, "flush" is not done as water will only make the fungus grow and make things worse
but that is what being done at normal clinics
(yup..should have been to ENT at the first place)
I asked doc what actually cause it and doc said that it just happens in this humid weather country
(ahh..no wonder i saw so many people waiting to see doctor at the waiting area! they looked normal but they might be having the same problem!)
after the "vacuum" work all done, my left ear can hear again!the blockage is removed!
thank god i almost cried
so we I got out happily from the clinic but still need to see doc in 5 days time for follow up
ahh..finally..alhamdulillah..
So people, whenever you have ear problems, straight away go to ENT, don't go to normal gp clinics!

then, we went to the Women & Children's clinic at level 6 for Hannan's appointment

happy baby. already 6.5kg at 4 months

happy baby getting her medicine.then she got 2 injections but she cried like only few seconds. brave n strong like ummi heheh

so Hannan is also doing well..she smiles and giggles and communicates a lot nowadays
her favorite thing is the ladybird from her playmat (credit to mommy faira) ceiling fan and new toy that her daddy bought online
alhamdulillah..
all is well..
