Raya Entry.
Raya eve: hanya pertolongan minimum dihulurkan di dapur
al-maklumlah, i can't even duduk bersila lama2 kat dapur tu
so i just watched my sisters and granma preparing the sambal goreng
kalau tak, i would surely be the "mangsa keadaan" because i was always the one helping in the kitchen
especially the potong2 bahan part
but this year, mom and my 2 lil sis were the anchor women in the kitchen
lauk siap awal lagi untuk our last buka puasa that day alhamdulillah
Raya morning:
hubby siap-siap utk solat raya with granma, nyang and my brothers..
while mama and I and other sistersmenjamah preparing juadah for them
after makan2, mcm biasa acara salam-salam
and as usual, mom is the "pelakon air mata"
Petang raya:
since my in-laws (and only three of them with lil SIL as Nana beraya at Terengganu) are celebrating raya in KL this year, I've decided to bring them some ketupat, kari and sambal goreng ..and we decided to make it a surprise :)
they were searching for a place to eat (believe me, KL, PJ and Subang area was a total shutdown on Hari Raya) and decided to have their late lunch at secret recipe nearby Subang Jaya
hubby somehow managed to trace their car
boy how much we loved to see their surprise faces to see us walking through the entrance hehe
so surprise mission was perfectly done
2nd raya:
Beraya di Muar, dad's side
out of 14, only 6 are left. although their houses are nearby, still get exhausted
and hungry since we only get to eat kuih and kerepek2 (nk cpt punye pasal)
and all were asking.."berapa bulan dah?".. "baby girl ke boy?" with all excitement
on our way back from Muar, dad ajak singgah kedai mee bandung at tanjung agas
it was a fullhouse!takde rezeki, mee bandung habis! huhu
so we headed straight to highway
but it was a long crawl all the way to toll tangkak
lucky sempat singgah RnR Ayer Keroh where we had our prayer and late lunch
all in all..
I thank Allah for this simple raya celebration
I thank Allah for everyone's presence
I thank Allah for giving us the chance to meet our relatives again this year
I thank Allah that Hannan is here with us this year..
