Me

I need me time

5 months plus

Suphie has started taking solids as ummi's production slowing down. Read: stress Food tested: asparagus.porridge.organic brown rice. lemon.apple Starting to crawl backward. Can easily toss and turn to whichever direction Can easily slip off from her car seat.hence we always put her on strap. Oh and she tries to lift up her body whenever we put her in her bumbo seat. Gives a cry when she wants someone to pick her up or when she's bored or left alone Gives adorable smile when people talk to her. And babbles "aaaahhhh" in response to people Kakak hannan surely loves to play with her although sometimes she doesn't want to let Suphie play her toys Haha that's normal Suphie But we know you'll get along just fine We love you sayang

Chatterbox Te Te La Pet

"5 little monkeys jumping on the bed One fell ofd and bump his head Mama call the doctor and the doctor said "No no monkeys jump te te la pet"! That is Hannan's version of the song When her bread is finished: "Bread is finished. Let's go buy bread" Whenever she sees aeroplane: "Huh! Daddy! See that! Aeroplane!! Bye aeroplane. .see you soon..it's time to sleep.." When passing by the playground: "Friend, go home! It's already dark! Go take shower!"

To husbands: When you don't know what to do

Your wife seems moody. Not looking at you when she's talking. Or her voice tone is irritating you. You know something is wrong but you don't know what it is. Don't fret. Go to the nearest bakery shop.or a drive through Starbucks.  Get her fav drink and cake. Let her eat and drink immediately. She'll smile and laughing at herself while eating because of the drama. And you don't have to worry seeing her in that condition no longer. IF you did worry la. Approved and tested method.

5 months second week

By now, all your babyā€™s kicking, rolling and waving is paying off. Sheā€™s getting much stronger. Sit her on your lap or put her on the floor and you may find sheā€™s able to  sit up  for a moment without support.  Once sheā€™s sitting, move her legs into a V shape. This helps her to balance and makes a tumble less likely. Then, if you think she's ready to stay sitting, put a suitable  toy  in front of her to play with. Surround her with pillows and stay close in case she keels over.  Your baby might also like to play lying on her tummy. Lifting her head and chest to see a toy will build up her neck muscles and develop the  head control  she needs for sitting. If you stand her on your thighs and bounce her up and down, youā€™ll help strengthen her legs too. And you'll get lots of laughs into the bargain! source:  http://www.babycentre.co.uk/s1001659/5-month-old-second-week#ixzz32EvNtFd4 keywords for Suphie this week: STRONGER and we love to hear ...

Super early, super simple celebration, just the 4 of us thnk u hubs I hope we won't feel old in giving each other more surprises or bday presents in coming years (presents?keep them coming!) Oh, and it's Suphie's first time on the plane! She was crying (read: loud) at first and I know it must have been challenging for other passengers (sorry!) but after giving her expressed milk, she fell asleep right away. And as I mentioned in previous post, Hannan is no longer afraid of the beach sand and sea. She played her version of sand castle for hours. The weather was cloudy so it was all just nice for her. I love the hotel staffs. from housekeeping, concierge, buggy driver, kitchen staffs. they have been friendly last time and still are. We just went out to Hj Ismail shop for chocolate shopping and spent the rest of the time in the hotel. Oh and we had a photography session on the second day. Our photog was Zamerul Md Noor from gorgeouslypictured.com. He clearly k...

Where is Allah

It has been 2 days We asked her to recite prayer before sleep and to thank Allah for the day And she asked: "Where Allah? Hannan call Allah"

Makan-makan: Oliver's Kitchen, Shaftsbury Square, Cyberjaya

Late post on this One of western food outlet in Shaftsbury Square. According to its FB page it is British food. My spaghetti tasted good, even Hannan ate it. Hubs burger was okay, it looked small but with the sides they are just proportionately nice. And I love the way they present it. Everything about this place seems simple. I guess they want to emphasize that they are not everdoing things and just focus on the food. photo credit to mr.hubs https://www.facebook.com/oliverskitchenmalaysia

Boba Air Carrier

It's very challenging when you are out at the mall and your 2 kids decided to sleep at the same time. And you only have 1 stroller. Because it's too expensive to get another stroller and I personally think having 2 strollers are not practical. Well some people opted for tandem strollers but we want to make use of the present stroller as much as we want (read: 100% wear and tear because it is still few months old) While doing my "research", I read so many reviews about Boba Carrier especially the youtube vids comparing Boba and Ergo baby. Ergo material is more cooling compared to Boba but as hubs said it, "you yourself won't want to expose yourself in the sun unnecessarily right?" Spot on hubs. So after further review and much discussion with hubs, the cheapest and most practical carrier to me seemed to be the Boba Air. Suphie in Boba Air Carrier Well what can I say about this carrier? Suphie can easily sleep for hours inside the carrier while Ummi...

Hannan: May 2014

When I jokingly told her that I'm afraid of crocodile: "Don't worry Ummi! Hannan don't catch crocodile. Fish ok!" Our ritual is to have a group hug before bed but recently she's opposing this: "No hugs!Time to sleep!" When daddy played and was singing loud to Suphie in front of the tv while she was eating at the dining table watching Frozen: "Daddy, sit here!" When daddy put her Twiggies inside Suphie's stroller: "Supphie!Don't eat Hannan's Twiggies!" "Ummi, see, 2 fours!" while both hands raising 4 fingers each. and she's no longer afraid of the beach and sea. she's grown up. *tears

confusion

Remember in my earlier post I mentioned that Suphie cried and screamed a lot that night? Well I think she's having nipple confusion It was trial and error kinda thing. the next day she was still crying and I knew that she was hungry although she rejected direct feeding. didn't want to turn towards me although she was sucking her fingers (all of them!). So I put blanket on her mouth and she immediately was sucking on it and turned to me. And I finally managed to feed her. Since then I figured out that she needs something to suck before drinking directly. It can be blanket, bolster, pillows, tudung or soft toys. Whatever with a texture. Is that normal?

happy bday Aries daddy o

this is a long due post..fuh.. happy belated birthday daddy! I had so many plans in mind..like plan A and B and backups and whatnot.. plus list of present ideas but I didn't managed to execute them with proper details as I have so little time..(and ehem budget..) well you know..in between breastfeeding and crying baby and playing with our lil princesses and work and sleep yes.sleep is very important to me nowadays. If i don't have enough sleep I usually get headache and sickness and cranky all day and my milik won't get produced as much as they should be. see? moms need a lot of rest and sleep. oops.anyway. one of the best thing about knowing your husband's bffs is u get them to execute plan. in my husband's case, his bffs go way back during school years and I saw their wedding and having children journey (except for one of them which is still single. pls contact me if any of you interested).. and they always go out together for mamak or futsal sessions....
