37 weeks is..

stressful I know I mentioned in previous post that I've been doing well but apparently, I said it way too soon I caught bad cough and chest pain and flu on Monday When I saw Dr Fauzi on Tuesday he said it's early bronchitis and it got worse on Wednesday with high fever and bad headache and I was on leave for 4 days straight since Monday I'm guessing my boss is starting to hate me. as if I'm having so much excuses. and my sick leave has been used entirely so now I need to use my annual leave to replace the mc then hubs got his cough back. and Hannan got some of it too I'm just spreading the virus :( I'm also finding it hard to get good sleep nowadays even after consuming the "notorious" flu and cough medicine, I still can't sleep well it's getting uncomfortable to sleep with the current size I guess and I know because of all the above hubby is also getting stressed :( I'm sorry "Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge o...

10 ways to avoid marrying the wrong person

There is a right way and a wrong way to get to know someone for marriage.  The wrong way is to get caught up in the excitement and nuance of a budding relationship and in the process completely forget to ask the critical questions that help determine compatibility.  One of the biggest mistakes that many young Muslims make is rushing into marriage without properly and  thoroughly  getting to know someone.  A common myth is that the duration of a courtship is an accurate enough measure of how compatible two people are.  The logic follows that the longer you speak with someone, the better you will know them.  The problem with that premise is that no consideration is given to  how  that time is spent. Increasingly, young Muslim couples are engaging in ā€œhalal dating,ā€ which is basically socializing with each other in the company of friends and/or family. This includes going out to dinner, watching a movie, playing some sport or other leisure acti...

a note to my ex boss

my ex boss is always the relax type kinda guy he was regularly late to the office then lunch he'll rush back to fetch his kids and he'll usually back on the dot in the evening I always thought that he was not taking his job seriously and I thought he was behaving that way because he depended so much on me but now I have to say that I am now, becoming him now I understand that when you have kids, your entire world just change your top priority is no longer your job it's always your child. your family

26 months!

Happy 26 months sayang! You are now at the stage where you like to count things and it's a routine that you count your fingers before you sleep and you never fail to make ummi laugh with your funny tune "kakak hannan ye.." especially when you see your cousin embun and you like to use adjectives nowadays you would stand by the car window (btw, you like to sit at the back lately..or rather..going to the front and back of the car..) and say "woahh..big cloud.." or "woahh..big cars.." or "big thunder" or "big azan" yes everything is big you recognize shapes, thanks to the mr. maker  shapes song video in youtube and always ask ummi/daddy to draw them "ummi/daddy..draw.. act-tangle (rectangle)/ curl (circle) / kai-angle (triangle)/ quare (square)" and you really emphasize when you don't want something like "ummi..dowan dowan dowan rice " yes, "dowan" up to 3 times if you want something you...

diarrhea (is the spelling correct?)

Hannan has been having diarrhea/loose stool for 1 week already but she's not having fever or vomiting etc appears active. drinking as usual. no signs of dehydration less rice intake but replacing it with bread and chicken been to nearby clinic.doc seemed not worried at all because of the above but she prescribed medicine anyway. the white color syrup. and ointment for her nappy rash. that's all but she's still having loose stool esp during sleep (like 2 or 3 times) it's puzzling us update: we gave her yoghurt for 2 days in a row as it is said to be a good cure for diarrhea. alhamdulillah.. princess recovered completely
